Connor Alexander – Assistant Coach
Coach Connor Alexander is a former competitive rower from MCYR with six years of experience, earning multiple medals and serving as team captain in his senior year. Introduced to the sport by his older brother, rowing quickly became a passion, shaping his strong work ethic and leadership skills.
A graduate of Lakewood Ranch High School, Connor now brings his experience and dedication to coaching, helping athletes develop both their technical skills and team mentality. As a firefighter and EMT, he understands the importance of discipline, teamwork, and perseverance—values he instills in his rowers.
Outside of coaching and firefighting, Connor enjoys Formula 1 racing, car shows, concerts, and working out. As a proud Florida native and the youngest of four brothers, he appreciates the sense of family and camaraderie that rowing provides.
