This Privacy Policy describes the privacy practices of Manatee County Youth Rowing (“we,” “us,” “MCYR,” or “our”). • Audiovisual information (e.g., photos and video of athletes at practices, regattas, and events; recordings of calls to us)

Generally, we use your personal information to:

• Register participants and administer our programs

• Support participants’ different abilities and promote safety for all participants

In some instances, you may be able to choose what information to provide, but sometimes we require certain information from you to use features of our Services.

The exact information we need will depend on the purpose and type of service requested. For example, you may provide information to request information from us, make full use of the Services, or enroll in an activity; and when you create an account, we may ask for your and/or the participant’s name, phone number, email address, date of birth, and gender identity. If you choose not to provide certain information, we may not be able to provide requested services.

Information We Collect from Others. Our service providers may collect personal information on our behalf while providing their services to us. In some circumstances, we may obtain personal information about you from third parties, such as advertising or analytics providers and our community or sponsor partners. Information We Automatically Collect from You. In addition to the information you provide, we and our service providers collect information automatically when you use our Services. Examples include:

Our Services may collect information about you in order to target advertisements to you when you browse the internet or use social media. For example, we use the Meta (Facebook) Pixel and Google Ads to provide relevant advertisements on other websites. You may visit Meta’s and Google’s websites to learn more about each platform’s advertising practices and the options you have to manage how they collect and use your personal information. Social Features and Our Services

Certain features on our Services permit interactions you initiate between our Services and certain third-party services, such as social networks (“Social Features”). Examples include sending content such as contacts and photos between our Services and a third-party service; “liking” or “sharing” our content; logging into our Services using a third-party service account; and otherwise connecting our Services to a third-party service. If you use Social Features, information you post or provide access to may be publicly displayed on our Services or by the third-party service you use. Your Cookie Choices and Opt-Out Preference Signals

In addition to the browser controls described above, some browsers and extensions let you send an opt-out preference signal, such as the Global Privacy Control (GPC), that communicates your choice to opt out of certain sharing of personal information for targeted advertising. Where required by applicable law, we treat a recognized opt-out preference signal as a valid request to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information for that browser or device.

Do Not Track

Do Not Track (“DNT”) is a privacy preference signal that users can set in some web browsers. Currently, our website does not respond to DNT signals. Where required by law, we do honor recognized opt-out preference signals such as the Global Privacy Control, as described above.

• Advertising and Analytics Partners. We may share personal information with advertising and analytics partners for the purposes described in the Cookies, Website Analytics, and Targeted Advertisements sections above, including ad targeting and measurement.

While we attempt to ensure the integrity and security of personal information, we cannot guarantee that our security measures will prevent third parties from illegally obtaining access to personal information. Our online Services are intended for parents and guardians, and are not directed to individuals under the age of 18. Children may not create accounts or use our online Services directly, and we do not knowingly collect personal information online directly from children under 13. As a youth rowing organization, we do collect personal information about participants under 18, including athletes under 13, but we collect that information from a parent or legal guardian as part of registration and program administration, and with parental consent.

If you believe a child has submitted personal information to us directly without parental consent, please contact us using the information in the “How to Contact Us” section so we can delete the information or take other appropriate action.

You may unsubscribe from our marketing email communications by clicking the “unsubscribe” link in every email we send, or by sending an unsubscribe request using the contact information below. If you opt out of our marketing emails, we may still send you messages related to your account, registration, or purchases. Unsubscribing from marketing communications will not affect the level or quality of service we provide.

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CCPA/CPRA), provides you with specific rights regarding your personal information, to the extent it applies to us. These include the right to know and access the personal information we collect, use, and disclose; the right to correct inaccurate personal information; the right to delete personal information; the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information; the right to limit the use and disclosure of sensitive personal information; and the right not to receive discriminatory treatment for exercising your rights.
